Dr. Mariana Blagoev established her dental practice, in Parlin 15 years ago. Originally known as Gentle Dentistry, it is now called Bright Smiles Dental. Dr. Blagoev graduated from the University of Detroit, Michigan at the top of her class in 1994 with the Jefferson Dental Study Group Merit Award and Diploma for Academic Excellency. She worked as a dentist in Michigan before following her husband, a doctor in Pathology to New Jersey, where he did his residency in Pathology at Monmouth Medical Center, and later started work in Ocean Medical Center.
Dr. Blagoev practiced dentistry in Manhattan and was a faculty member at NYU Dental School for 2 ½ years, before establishing her own practice in Parlin. Dr. Blagoev is an experienced, well-respected dentist with extensive training in all phases of dentistry, including prosthetics, endodontics, dental implants, cosmetic and pediatric dentistry. The office offers state-of-the-art technology including Dental Vibe-Painless Injection; SL3 Diod Laser; Proselect Platinum Piczo Ultrasonic Scaler; Nitrous Oxide, sedation dental procedure, digital X-rays and more. Dr. Blagoev loves to give smiles back to her patients, helping them get rid of pain and improving their dental health on a day-to-day basis, she also loves to be part of the community, and gives back by sponsoring regular major events at the Senior Citizens Center in Sayreville, and also sponsors sporting and educational events in the local school systems.
“Do A Good Deed Contest,” which is an essay contest was launched by Dr. Blagoev. It was open to any youth 18 years of age and under, and inspired youths to perform good deeds and write about them. The winning essay went to 14-year old Kevin Gay, who was awarded the grand prize—a brand new computer for helping people in need when Hurricane Sandy struck.
In addition, to help the residents of Parlin during these difficult economic times, Dr. Blagoev opened her office for anyone (adult or child) for free, who had a dental emergency, and who could not afford dental care. Dr. Blagoev, will conduct similar events in the future, as she received a very positive response from the community on this event.
